Sir Cumference and the Great Knight of Angleland.
"A 90 degree right angle, Hurrah!"
What's Your Angle, Pythagoras?
Oh how handy is that right angle!
Pythagoras (pie-THAG-uh-rus) born on the Greek island of Samos around 569 BCE. His most famous discovery is what we now call the Pythagorean Theorem. (We've been keeping an eye out for all the handy 90 degree angles around here. )

One of Noah's favorite Civil War Stories.
Noah has a homeschool friend who loves the Civil War as much as he does. Hi Lauren!
Have you read this one yet? Noah loves it! We've read 3 times now.
We hope to visit this cemetery when we go to Gettysburg in September... Oh yes, We're planning a trip this fall to Gettysburg. A historical and ghost hunting adventure for the whole family!

Your trip to Gettysburg sounds great!
I remember the Sir Cumference book well. We didn't read the book you show about Pythagorus but the minute my daughter found out his famous formula was actually based on Egyptian theory he picked up during his travels, she was all over it. Any tie to Egypt and it's a hit, LOL.
Hi Anet - will look to put a hold on the mentioned Civil War book -- thank you so much!
I have heard a lot about the math books you mentioned, will look into those at some point :)
Carla
Hey Tara,
Yes, we read he traveled to Egypt:)
He sure got around for living in 569 BCE!

Hi Carla,
I guess we should return it so you can check it out. LOL!
Yeah, the math books might be a tad old for Lauren. A few years yet:)
