Caleb's stocking that his Kindergarten teacher made him.
Autumn's big girl stocking... She used to have a stocking with little kittens on it but it fell apart.
Noah's stocking, this was my stocking. My mom and aunts made everyone stocking when I was a baby. I love the soft flannel material and the vintage print. The other side as Santa's sleigh and reindeer's.
The Cat's stocking... 3 cans of Fancy Feast cat food for Christmas morning and a few hand made felted cat toys. Boo will drive me crazy for a few days after Christmas wanting more fancy feast.

oh my...i love that fish stocking...how fun is that for a cat/s. it is so much fun to see the stockings hung with care...always interesting to see other peoples stockings...beautiful!
we don't have a chimney, so we are a bit confused as to where we should hang our stockings this year...

Aren't stockings wonderful? Like they are just waiting to be filled with little treasures.
One year we received a box of gifts from my parents and put them under the tree before heading out to do some errands. What we didn't know was that a couple of the little ones were for the cats (kitty treats, canned food). They knew and opened them (the wrapping not the cans:) before we got home.

We used to hang them on a shelf or on the back of the dinning room chairs when we didn't have a fireplace. Santa will find them :)

Oh gosh, that is hilarious! They must of smelled the cat treats or they are very smart cats and can read the tags!
For some reason if we put the present directly under the tree the cats rip off the bows and chew the corners of the presents. Also they dive bomb into the presents to get under the tree, even after I cleared them a path. The dorks!
The closer it gets to Christmas the naughtier they get! Don't they know that "he knows if you are bad or good?"
They think under the tree is their domain.
So I piled the presents in front of the fireplace and they leave them alone. It looks kind of stupid with the presents not under the tree but next to the tree.
